Former majority leader in the California Assembly drops out of crowded Democratic field, suggests considering RCV

Ian Calderon, the former majority leader in the state Assembly, announced he is dropping out of the California governor’s race, and said this in a statement:


"Maybe it’s time to consider Ranked Choice Voting so Californians aren’t boxed into a lesser-of-evils decision. Voters deserve real options."
